Below you will find a list of inflatable canoes. There are quite a few different types and they can be ideal for recreational flat water paddling as well as for heavy whitewater canoeing.
Some are designed for light day use while others are able to handle multi-day expedition adventures. One thing they all have in common is that they are extremely fun to paddle and convenient to transport and store.
If you don’t find the canoe you are looking for then please check out our inflatable kayak reviews as many of the kayak models can also be paddled canoe-style as well.

Aire Traveler
This is a high-end inflatable canoe that can handle just about anything you throw at it. It is very stable, has adjustable bench seats and comes with a fantastic 10-year warranty.
It is by far one of the best inflatable canoe’s on the market. The Traveler will take you anywhere you want to go and hold one heck of a lot of gear.
Sea Eagle 330
This is the most affordable option for an inflatable canoe. You get a lot for your money and although it is not as high quality as the more expensive models listed above, it is still a great canoe and a lot of fun to paddle.
It comes with two seats that can be adjusted for solo use. It also comes with two kayak paddles but you can easily paddle the 330 canoe style as well.
Sea Eagle 370
The 370 is a longer version of the 330. It is better suited for two people as you have much more leg room for comfort.
It is also very affordable and a great product that comes with a 180-day guarantee and a 3-year warranty.
The 370 comes with 2 kayaks paddles and 2 high-end inflatable seats. It is a very comfortable watercraft for a great price.
Sevylor Colorado
The Colorado is a very popular model. Basically with this canoe, the price is right and it looks great.
It can be used for fishing, lazy days on the lake or family fun. It offers a fair amount of versatility and is great for recreational use.
The quality is decent but not fantastic. It is great for family use, fishing or just fun recreational days out on the water.
Sevylor Rio
This is the only solo inflatable canoe option. It is truly best suited for one person and is light enough to take anywhere.
I’ve paddled this canoe with a canoe paddle as well as with a kayak paddle, it can work both ways just fine.
Tracking isn’t the greatest but it paddles well in rivers. A nice looking canoe and fairly comfortable.
Sevylor Tahiti Classic
This is the cheapest model of the bunch. You can’t really expect too much from it performance wise as it really is at the lower end of the spectrum, but it is a very affordable way to get out on the water.
It is stable and easy to paddle and best suited for lakes or slow moving rivers.
It will not last as long as the others and with this model it is very important to store it out of direct heat or cold in order to keep the material strong.
Be sure to check out the newest items from Gala inflatables; the C320, C380 and C380 lite, the C450 and C520. These inflatables can be paddled like a canoe, kayak and if you want will take an outboard motor. I purchased the C380 lite and have a 3.5ph outboard. Very comfortable, stable and can handle almost any water. Gala calls them inflatable canoes, Canadian design manufactured in Europe.
Thank you for mentioning Gala inflatables, designed in Canada. Am def going with their models instead of Sea Eagle. Thanks I had never heard of them before ! Lighter and smaller.
which one would you recommend the sea eagle 370 or the sevylor Colorado
I much prefer the Sea Eagle 370. I find it has more inside room and definitely tracks better. The Colorado has more of a canoe shape, which some people prefer but I like the performance and comfort of the SE 370. The 370 also has a 3-year warranty as opposed to only 1-year for the Colorado.
Trying to decide on the Sea Eagle 330 or 370. Web site said 330 can be used as a canoe, but no comment to that regarding the 370? I am better with canoe paddles than kayak. Also, I will only be using it for a canal or intercoastal waterway, maybe lake. My husband is 6′ 3″ and might paddle with me occasionally. What do you suggest?
With a 6’3″ husband I would say definitely the SE 370. I find the 330 a little cramped with two people. It is totally doable but the 370 is way more comfortable as it offers more leg room and it is still very easy to paddle solo. No problem paddling both of them canoe style.
Hi, can anyone suggest a good strong solo kayak for class 3 and 4 rivers please. Thanks:)
Hi Allison. Thank you again for your review of the ft385. I’ve never enjoyed anything so much in my life! Now I’m looking at the new SEA EAGLE canoe as more of a familly boat (my wife likes to recline while I fish….), and I was wondering if you think you’ll be reviewing it in the not to distant future? thanks, Joel
Hi Joel, I am so glad you are enjoying the ft385! I really hope to review the new Sea Eagle canoe in the near future. I’m thinking it will probably be closer to the end of the summer before I review it. It looks awesome, I am really impressed by what I’ve read about it so far. So stay tuned, hopefully I’ll get my hands on it soon! 🙂
