Final Thoughts
The reviews on this inflatable kayak are excellent. Those who have it seem to love it. I think the convenience and versatility it offers is fantastic.
As far as speed I would not expect the Paddleski to be the fastest kayak in the water if you are paddling. However it performs well and if you need to go faster you can always add a motor.
Storage space is located on the front end of the kayak. There is not a lot of room in the back so all gear will either need to be tied down up front or by your legs.
It can hold a fair amount of weight (651 lbs.) so you can load it right up with no worries.
This is an excellent inflatable kayak for someone who really wants some versatility out of their boat for a decent price. The Paddleski is great for fishing, paddling, motoring and sailing. It is a super fun kayak.
It is wider than many other inflatable kayaks which makes it extremely stable yet the catamaran design allows it to cut throught he water easily and paddle smoothly.
As with all other Sea Eagle kayaks and boats, the Paddleski comes with a great 3 year warranty and a 180 day risk free trial.
If you are not happy with your kayak at any point within 180 days of purchase you can return it for a full refund as long as it’s in good condition.

We need to transition from too-heavy Old Town 14+ ft. canoe used for fishing on small rivers and lakes to a lighter weight inflatable.Have read about the Aquaglide Blackfoot HB (not yet available), the Sea Eagle 385ftg FastTrack Angler or possibly their 380x or the Aquaglide Chelan HB Tandem. Any thoughts/recommendations on a moderately priced tandem that will be stable, withstand being launched from river banks, comfortable for fishing and less than 50 lbs? We don’t do whitewater so that’s not an issue. Also need a return policy like Sea Eagle’s in case we decide kayaking is not the way to go for us. Appreciate your help!
The FastTrack is a great kayak for fishing. There is a decent amount of room, it is comfortable, it paddles well and is lightweight. It would definitely suit your needs. The 380X is also popular for fishing. It doesn’t paddle quite as fast as the FastTrack but that may not be a concern for you. With the larger pontoon sides on the 380X I have found that most people prefer the inflatable seats in the deluxe package for fishing… these seats sit you up a little higher than the tall back seats. I’ve yet to review the Aquaglide kayaks unfortunately but I did get the chance to try one out a while back. It was a tandem model and I found it to be a nice kayak, more comparable to the 380X, although I didn’t find it glided on the water quite as well and it didn’t feel quite as solid to me (that was just my initial impressions on a quick ride). Overall though it was comfortable and stable and I think would work well for fishing. The Sea Eagle warranty is hard to beat. The only other one I’d recommend with a good warranty is possibly the Aire Super Lynx, which is truly a great kayak but it also costs more and is a little heavier.
